His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and in the presence of Her Excellency Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad was appointed Minister of Social Development and Family, joined  the children of the Orphan Care Center (Dreama), and participated in the activities of the National Sports Day. The activities included many sporting activities in addition to various competitions, which witnessed interaction from participants in an atmosphere that reflects the importance of sports in changing lifestyle.
