With the support of Masraf Al Rayan, the Orphan Care Center "Dreama", held a celebration on the occasion of the night of "Garangao", the middle of the blessed month of Ramadan. Celebrating the "Garangao" makes us live and sense the atmosphere of the past. The event aims to have the children of Dreama participate in this occasion and live the traditional customs and traditions associated with the night of "Garangao". Ms. Al-Anoud Hassan Darwish, Acting Executive Director of the Orphan Care Center " Dreama " confirmed that such initiatives enhance the cooperation of all institutions in Qatar in order to support the children of Dreama. It also reflects the great interest in this category with view to making them happy and encouraging them to learn the customs of their community. Ms. Al-Darwish pointed out that "Garangao" is one of the most prominent customs and traditions in the middle of the holy month, and it is a popular custom inherited from parents and grandparents, therefore it was necessary for the children of Dreama, being an integral part of society, to participate in this occasion. Al-Darwish noted that the Center is committed to harnessing everything that helps integrate children into society and contribute to achieving stability for them at all levels, including the participation of the Qatari society in its customs and traditions, as one of the psychological and educational services provided by the Center to them with a high level of quality that meets the care they need. She expressed her deep gratitude, thanks and appreciation to Masraf Al Rayan for this kind initiative that would raise the morale of the children of Dreama and make them happy by reviving the night of "Garangao" and drawing lessons from the heritage of the ancestors. On her part, Ms. Rana Al-Assaad, Head of Special Services at Masraf Al Rayan, expressed her happiness with the participation of " Dreama " children on this occasion, which comes within the framework and keenness of Masraf Al Rayan on participation in such annual occasions, and confirmed that " Dreama " children are part of the community fabric and therefore they must be integrated in the society through participation in events and interactions, sensing the responsibility of caring for them. The honorable guest of honor, Elham Al-Ansari, the traditional costume designer, spoke about the importance of folklore, and the necessity of introducing generations to this aspect that reflects the authenticity and history of the State of Qatar, besides introducing the authentic Qatari costumes. She expressed her happiness to participate in "Dreama" celebration, which reflects the importance of integrating this category into the society through their participation in all occasions. The celebration program included a popular session where nuts and sweets were distributed to the children of Dreama.
